History Students and the 2026 Annual Conference

“We have included graduate students at every step of the way from the beginnings of the ATxH through the assembly of our top-notch group of presenters for the Annual Conference. Events focusing on graduate students will be held at the conference, including a graduate student reception.

Conference Stipends for Graduate Students of History

ATxH is committed to graduate students! With a grant from the Summerfield G. Roberts Foundation, the Alliance for Texas History will provide twenty stipends of $500 to support graduate students in history attending our 2026 conference.

Undergraduate history students are invited to participate in our upcoming Research Poster Showcase at our Annual Conference. Awards of $300, $200, and $100 will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-ranked posters, as determined by a judging panel.
